

In 2018, ROADIS implemented human resources policies which have allowed us to improve our teams’ development. This policy of ongoing improvement aims to promote and drive the most important asset in the company's portfolio: our human team.

Patrick Samson has been Chairman of the Board of Directors of ROADIS since May 2016. He started his career in 1994 at PwC, where he held various positions related to the infrastructure advisory sector. Patrick joined PSP Investments in 2006. He currently holds the position of Managing Director of the Infrastructure Investment area there. He has successfully closed numerous deals with this company and supervises several companies in the portfolio. Patrick completed his studies in 1994 at Laval University, in Quebec City.

A member of the Board of Directors of ROADIS since May 2018, Patrick started his career in infrastructure consulting at PwC. With more than 15 years of experience in the infrastructure sector, Charbonneau is currently working at the PSP offices in London, where he leads the organization's expansion plans in the infrastructure sector in Europe and worldwide. Patrick holds a degree in business administration with a specialization in finance from Bishop’s University. He subsequently completed a High Potential Leadership program at Harvard University. In addition, he has been a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) since 2002.

An Independent Director on the Board of Directors of ROADIS since May 2017, she has held similar positions with companies such as Copenhagen Airports, the Portmeirion Group, the TUI Group and Bristol Airport (where she serves as Chair of the Board). Throughout her career, Janis has held different executive positions at BAA Plc. (now Heathrow Airport Holdings Ltd.). In addition, she has been Managing Director of Gatwick Airport and Chairperson of Heathrow Airport Ltd. for five years, as well as Chairperson of Heathrow Express. Janis holds a degree in Mathematics and Psychology from the University of Edinburgh and completed her education with the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School.

A member of the Board of Directors of ROADIS since December 2018, Ignacio has held various positions of responsibility: he has been Managing Director of the BBVA Chairperson’s Office, CEO of N+1 Private Equity and CEO of Vista Capital Expansión, SGECR (private equity), among others. He is currently a board member of Telefónica and senior advisor of Apollo Global Management for Spain, as well as Chairman of Metrovacesa. Ignacio holds a degree in Business Administration and Economics from the University of Bilbao and a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) from INSEAD.

A member of the Board of Directors of ROADIS since May 2016, Gabriel started his career at the National Bank of Canada as a Securities and Markets Analyst. He later worked in the transport industry, at Bombardier’s Mergers, Acquisitions and Corporate Strategy department. He joined PSP Investments in 2011 and has been a director with the PSP Infrastructure team since 2015, participating in numerous deals in the infrastructure sector. Gabriel holds a degree in Economics, Administration and Finance from McGill University and HEC Montreal.

After completing a degree in Civil Engineering at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, Labarra began his career at Cintra, where he held different management positions in Portugal (Norte Litoral), Canada (407ETR), Spain and the USA for 13 years. He then joined Grupo Isolux as Managing Director of Highway Concessions, where he led the team and implemented the portfolio of projects that constituted the starting point for ROADIS in 2016.

After completing a degree in Civil Engineering at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, Labarra began his career at Cintra, where he held different management positions in Portugal (Norte Litoral), Canada (407ETR), Spain and the USA for 13 years. He then joined Grupo Isolux as Managing Director of Highway Concessions, where he led the team and implemented the portfolio of projects that constituted the starting point for ROADIS in 2016.

Javier holds a degree in Law and in Business Administration and Economics from the Comillas Pontifical University (ICADE) and completed an International Executive Program at the INSEAD Business School (Fontainebleau campus). He has extensive experience in the construction and infrastructure sector, mainly at Ferrovial where he was in charge of the entire Group’s Control, Internal Audit and Risk areas, among other positions held. In the telecommunications sector, he was the Audit Director at his previous company, ONO. He later joined ROADIS, where he currently leads the internal audit, risk and insurance areas.

Esther holds a Master's degree in Civil Engineering from the UPM of Madrid and a Master's degree in Management of Infrastructure and Public Services and has extensive international experience in PPP projects. Prior to her appointment as Head of EMEA, she held the position of Managing Director at Indus Concessions in India since 2009. Before joining ROADIS, she held different positions at OHL Concesiones.

José Ramón holds a PhD in Civil Engineering from the Technical University of Madrid and a degree in Business Administration and Management. His entire career has been focused on the world of infrastructure concessions, holding different responsibilities both in the technical and operational side, as well as in finance and asset management. He was Managing Director of Sociedad Concesionaria Autovía A-4 Madrid S.A., a member of the board of directors of several projects, as well as Director of ROADIS USA.

José has solid experience with international companies in different sectors. He started his journey as CFO at Rubuvil in Portugal and was later appointed CFO at the Lena Group, based in Lisbon. In addition, he worked as CFO at Martifer.
Before joining ROADIS at the end of 2015, he worked as COO at Finertec, a holding company dedicated to activities in the energy, engineering, real estate and infrastructure management sectors.
Before being appointed as Head of Brazil in January 2018, he served as CFO of the VIABAHIA concession holder.

Shawn is responsible for overseeing the Group's investment activities. Before joining ROADIS, Shawn was a Senior Investment Director at PSP, one of Canada's largest pension investment managers, where he focused on global private investments, particularly infrastructure investments. Shawn holds an MBA from McGill University and a law degree from Université de Montréal.

Antonio holds a Law degree, a Master's degree in Management and Human Resources Management and a Master's degree in Occupational Risk Prevention; he has spent almost his entire career at the company. As a lawyer at Corsan Corviam, he later took on positions of greater responsibility in the area of Labour Relations and HR Management, until reaching his current position as Human Resources Director at ROADIS.

Ana Lorente started her career as a lawyer at Estudio Jurídico Serrano, a Spanish law firm operating internationally and headquartered in Madrid. She later joined Ferrovial, where she worked as a lawyer for over a decade and held the position of Corporate Legal Affairs Director. For the last six years, she has worked as Director of the Legal Area and Secretary of the Board of Obras Subterráneas, S.A. (OSSA), a company specialized in mining, energy, services and underground construction. Ana holds a Law degree from Complutense University of Madrid and has completed her education with numerous specialized courses and seminars.

José María holds a degree in Civil Engineering from the Technical University of Madrid and has an MBA from IPADE Business School. He joined Isolux Aparcamientos as Project Manager and was Isolux Infrastructure’s Director for Mexico for eight years and then at ROADIS. During this period, he acquired significant experience across all areas relating to the search for business opportunities, financing and concession management of toll highways. He has been responsible for North America since the end of 2016. He currently leads the corporate Strategic Projects Group.

Carlos has more than 10 years of experience in sales, business and finance. He worked at Ferrovial for 4 years, both at the Group’s parent company and at Cintra USA. He later worked as a Senior Associate in the Investment Banking Division of Banco Santander and as Head of Sales and Commercial Development at Vestas, a global energy company dedicated to wind energy. Before joining ROADIS as Country Manager Mexico, he worked as Head of M&A at Zuma Energia in Mexico City, focusing on creating, assessing, financing and implementing new acquisitions. Carlos studied Law and Business Administration at Comillas Pontifical University (ICADE).

Eduard holds a degree in Business Administration and Management from ESADE and completed his education in the US with an MBA from Harvard Business School. He started his career at the consulting firm McKinsey&Company and later joined Abengoa, where he held different positions relating to developing, managing and financing infrastructure. Before joining ROADIS, he held the position of Executive Vice President, CFO and COO at Atlantica Yield, a Nasdaq-listed company dedicated to managing a global portfolio of power generation, transmission and water assets. In addition to serving as CFO, Eduard leads the corporate support function teams at ROADIS.
