ANNUAL SUMMARY / DOMESTIC SITUATION / ROAD SECTOR /

Nobody can ignore that 2020 has been an unusual year, which uniquely affected our lives on both a personal and professional level. As in other countries, the COVID-19 pandemic disrupted the lives of families, transformed our way of dealing with everyday life, modified systems and business processes, and, of course, impacted economic results.
The economic results and the restrictions derived from the measures to combat the pandemic led to a decrease in traffic levels and, as a result, in revenues. In Brazil, we have adapted our working routines with health and safety procedures focused on protecting our employees. In this regard, we have implemented measures such as teleworking, which became a must, while ensuring the highways run smoothly.
The reduction in traffic accidents and the protection of users and staff are essential commitments made by the concessionaire.
In line with these commitments, we are working to obtain the ISO 39001 and ISO 45001 certifications.
Until the end of 2020, the company had invested a total of BRL 1.92 billion over the 680.6 km that connect 27 municipalities in Bahia.
At ROADIS we remain committed to complying with the concession agreement in force through VIABAHIA with the Brazilian Government, and we are ready to launch, as soon as possible, new investments that will help release much-needed infrastructure projects in the country.

Brazil has again been ranked among the top 25 of the Global Confidence Index in the Kearney 2020 FDI, conducted between January and March 2020. The partners of this firm in Brazil point out the positive fact that 35% of respondents are optimistic about the country's recovery, compared to 13% with a pessimistic view.
Brazil's GDP fell by 4.1% in 2020 compared to 2019, continuing the downward trend of previous years. The Brazilian government's expectations indicate a GDP recovery of 3.5% in 2021 and 2.5% in 2022.
The Brazilian Government clearly shows its support by promoting business opportunities in infrastructure. The Ministry of Infrastructure included virtual fairs abroad to demonstrate concession opportunities in railways, airports, roads and ports.
The total project portfolio for auctions amounts to $44.6 billion, of which $29 billion corresponds to toll roads that cover more than 18,100 km.
The project portfolio managed by the Investment Partnership Programme (IPP) expects the total length of paved roads granted to the private sector to reach 9,810 km by the end of 2021 (19,120 km at the end of 2022).
Currently, the Brazilian Government presents 14 toll highway projects as works in progress in its pipeline, exceeding 8,000 km. Undoubtedly, attracting foreign investment in a legally secure context is essential for the success of these projects.
Brazil ranks 56th out of 160 countries in terms of the quality of its infrastructures. Trucks are the main means of transport of goods; this drives up the price of logistics and contributes to the "Brazil cost" concept: with high operational costs, it is costly to do business in the country.

Logistics costs represent around 12% of Brazil's GDP (5% more than in the US ), reflecting inefficiency resulting from poor transport infrastructure.
In 2020, the Brazilian fleet reached 107.9 million vehicles.
The total length of the federal road network, excluding planned roads, is 75,553 thousand km, of which 65,528 km (87%) correspond to paved roads and 10,025 km (13%) correspond to unpaved roads.
Of the paved federal road network, 10,355 km are managed through a federal concession.
HOW DO WE CREATE VALUE IN OUR COMMUNITIES?
VIABAHÍA has a clear mission to manage the highway responsibly, contributing to the development of the State of Bahía through interaction with its people and communities, with added value for the sustainable development of Brazil. To do this, the concession holder has been developing projects to encourage awareness, participation, education and health. Actions designed to benefit highway users and communities near to our operation.
Since VIABAHIA's launch until the end of 2020, ROADIS in Brazil managed to add more than BRL 204 million in taxes on services transferred for the 27 municipalities connected to our road network, promoting local economic development.
