Communities

The actions we carried out in corporate responsibility consolidated a consistent community-development strategy aligned with long-term social objectives and adapted to local contexts.

We continued working on projects that, through collaborations with suppliers and local associations, reinforce our commitment to education, health, safe mobility, and social inclusion, directly and positively impacting thousands of people across three continents.

In line with our Community Development Guide, we work across three lines of action, under which different initiatives are deployed:

Equal education and reducing the social gap

We work to strengthen educational infrastructure in rural areas of Nuevo León and Veracruz to create dignified learning spaces, encourage children’s school attendance, and reduce dropout rates, while also raising family awareness of the importance of basic education.

We installed solar lamps in low-light areas, improving the schools’ usability and safety; we developed a computer room with donated computers; we set up a water purification station where access to running potable water is limited; we provided internet to facilitate access to educational tools; and we built restrooms for students where none existed before.

We collaborate with Khushii by developing the Shikshaantra Plus program, through which we drive the comprehensive transformation of 10 public schools in the Indian states of Gujarat, Rajasthan, Bihar, and Uttar Pradesh.

We improved the learning environment and provided students with digital learning tools, building current skills through STEM and CCT sessions. In addition, we promote WASH health and hygiene habits, provide psychosocial support, and foster student leadership through Maitri Groups.

We believe sport is a fundamental tool for fostering social inclusion and equality, and for promoting values such as teamwork, dedication, and respect. That’s why we continue working in the Daffi and Naveen sports-and-social schools in Varanasi (India), together with the Real Madrid Foundation. Through this initiative, we support families in vulnerable situations and encourage school attendance, increasing it from 55% to 86% in Daffi and from 50% to 84% in Naveen.

Community well-being

In 2025, we continued working with The Hans Foundation on the Swasthya Path project. Thanks to the five mobile medical units (MMUs) we deployed in rural areas of Varanasi, we brought healthcare to people who cannot access it due to distance or financial constraints. This initiative has a very high impact on community well-being: we focus on prevention and awareness through informational sessions and health camps, in areas where access to medical care faces structural barriers that are very difficult to break down.

Volunteering

We carried out road-safety awareness campaigns through educational workshops for children at three schools in the area surrounding the A4 highway (Spain). Under the slogan “Your safety, our priority”, our goal is to foster safe habits from an early age and raise awareness of good practices as drivers and as pedestrians.

In Mexico, we also carried out road-safety activities in the schools where we improve infrastructure, reinforcing our commitment to them and taking local collaboration one step further.

In 2026, we will continue working hand in hand with communities to create positive impact through our activities. We see the way we do our work as a contribution to the communities, and our commitment to creating value wherever we are present grows every day.
