During 2023, 470 people joined the workforce, 45% of whom were women. We continue to incorporate young talent; of the year's new hires, 40% were under the age of 30. Our workforce is structured as follows by professional categories: 69% are operators, 29% are graduates and administrative staff, and 2% are directors and executives.

OUR CULTURE IN 2023

SIX BELIEFS  THAT MAKE US DIFFERENT

After defining our cultural model in previous years, in 2023 we have continued to deploy this same model in all business units and territories, to unite all the people who make up the teams under the same corporate values.

We develop in detail the beliefs that define our essence, constitute the personality of our organisation and make our work unique:

  • We are trustworthy
  • We work with passion
  • We work for people
  • We are a team
  • We strive for excellence
  • We try, learn and grow

Over the course of 2023, through our Culture Ambassadors we have continued to roll out and expand outreach, engaging more employees, holding working sessions in each business unit to deepen these beliefs. In addition, Culture Forum sessions have been developed, exploring the development of the programme and sharing experiences, activities and achievements, fostering interaction between teams and cultural exchange.

THIS IS WHAT WE ARE

We create value in the communities in which we operate through profitable investments and the operation of major infrastructure projects around the world.

To do this, we rely on four essential attributes:

Prosperity

Through our projects, we create sustainable value where we operate. Respecting the environment, we promote economic development and social growth, creating jobs and facilitating connectivity.

Safety

We develop infrastructure projects that are safe for our employees and customers

Ethics

We invest and manage projects under the strictest ethical principles. Our investors and shareholders, officers, users, and employees trust us.

Innovation

Our work is the result of a relentless search for excellence and drive for innovation. Excellence and innovation go hand in hand in the way we approach our business, our processes and policies.

SOME

INITIATIVES

Retaining and developing talent is part of our commitments. Which is why in 2023, we contributed to the team's personal and professional growth through the Leader's Anatomy programme, which promotes the skills that turn them into leaders; and the Talent Cycle Scheme, a series of annual projects on their performance, evolution and potential. We also continued promoting our ROADIS University: a virtual training space where we can continue to develop in multiple areas of interest. A total of 32,244 hours of training were provided this year, or 15.3 hours per employee, compared to 12.2 hours in the previous year.

In 2023, we continued to implement the measures laid out in our Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Programme to guarantee equal treatment and opportunities for men and women, and to promote a business culture committed to diversity and inclusion. As part of this commitment, we did a Remuneration Benchmarking to analyse the remunerative conditions and salary bands, both within and outside ROADIS, by comparing our position with similar companies in the sector.

During 2023, we periodically collected feedback from our teams on the working environment in our offices through micro-surveys on climate, with the aim of understanding employees' opinions and developing measures to further improve professional relationships. In 2023, these surveys revealed an increase in the level of satisfaction of our collaborators compared to the previous year. The participation rate reached 86%, with a result of 3.05

In 2023 we launched the healthy platform for ROADIS HQ employees that provides advice on physical, emotional, nutritional and environmental health, as well as access to mindfulness and fitness classes such as pilates and yoga, among others. In addition, through the Wellness working group, with members from different areas, new initiatives have been developed (mindfulness sessions, physiotherapy sessions, etc.) with the aim of promoting the wellbeing of all employees. In addition, the "Employee Support Programme", which aims to provide psychological support to employees in need, remains active.

In order to guarantee the right to balance professional, personal and family life for all employees of the company, regardless of their seniority, we have continued to implement the Easyworking programme, as an additional measure to the existing flexibility, through which our teams can work remotely.
